The Indoctrination Programme of 15th
Batch of MIMER Medical College for the year 2009-10 was organized on
21/08/2009. Students along with their parents were invited for the programme.
Programme started with the ‘World Peace Prayer’. Principal, Dr. Mrs. S.S.
Javadekar addressed the students & their parents. She explained the aim of
the Intitutete to create self disciplined, dedicated doctors who well render
their selfless services, for humanities. She insisted on discipline of the individual
and the need of parent-teacher communication. She also assured the students
& parents of ragging free atmosphere of MIMER and introduced the members of
anti ragging committee to them. She was
followed by student representatives – Rohan Patil & Avanti Purohit, who
shared their experiences at MIMER Medical College, Talegaon with the new
students.
Medical Director, Dr. S.G. Ghaisas addressed the
audience at this time. He emphasized on the inculcation of good habits &
moral values among the students. His words of experience & wisdom clearly
made an impact on the young aspiring doctors.
Our Founder
President Dr. Vishwanath Karad’s arrival on this occasion came as a pleasant
surprise for all those who were present for the occasion. He enlightened the
audience with his words of wisdom. Not only the students, but their parents and
the staff of MIMER were also enthralled by this great visionary.
Students of 2004-05 Batch who got disctinction in I, IInd & IIIrd MBBS were awarded on this occasion.
In all new students attended the programme with their parents.
Executive Directors, Dr. Mrs. Suchitra Nagare & Dr. Virendra Ghaisas, Medical Superitendent, Dr. L.B. Khotkar, all the Heads of Departments were present for the occasion.
Interaction with the parents continued over tea & coffee after which the students were taken for a campus tour.
Regular classes started from 24th August 2009.
